It’s been a wee while since we’ve done a blog post, so we thought you were due one! We have been so busy getting the 2018 Dornoch Whisky Festival prepared for you and we can’t believe how quickly it’s come around – just over a month away!
We have some great events lined up and we’re so excited to be welcoming some new exhibitors (as well as some old favourites!) and bringing in a whole line of brand tasting events!
We have the wonderful Afternoon with Adelphi on the Friday afternoon in the Carnegie Whisky Cellars and they have a great tasting lined up with some very special bottlings! You can get your tickets here.
Then we have, later on in the evening a Scotch Malt Whisky Society Paired Dinner at the Dornoch Castle Hotel! Not only does the Dornoch Castle Hotel have a fabulous paired menu, but they have a great selection of whiskies for the meal too! This one does need a reserved time to eat, so do make sure you get your tickets and confirm your time, you can do that here.
Then we have our Delicious Desserts, hosted by none other than Douglas Laing! This time moving to the Royal Dornoch Golf Club as last year so many people wanted tickets for it! We still have a few – here – so make sure not to miss out!
As always, we have our VIP Tasting & one of our lovely VIP’s, Stephen Woodcock of Distell International will be hosting that! They have a great selection that includes the following: Deanston 18, Deanston Decennary, Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dha, Bunnahabhain Palo Cartado, Ledaig 18, Tobermory 12 Fino Cask, so as you can see, some pretty special bottlings & we’re very excited! Next up will be our Whisky Tasting with Special Guest, followed by a Four Course Menu at Links House, and that special guest is Mr Stephen Rankin of Gordon & MacPhail! We are just thrilled to have him back as part of the Dornoch Whisky Festival since he just such an amazing VIP last year! There is a gorgeous menu that has been put together for that very special dinner which you can find here & don’t forget to get your tickets here.
